Susan G. Komen 5k Walk for the Cure

Team Corvette Club of the Palm Beaches did the Susan G. Komen 5k Walk for the Cure on January 29, 2011.  What a “rush” to be part of the exuberant crowd, 20,00 strong, walking along the Intercoastal Waterway on beautiful Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach.    Our team members were Lynn Parisi, Gloria and Dave Schulman, Lynda and Laurie Guevremont.  We carried the club banner and wore pictures of those we honored and remembered, including our beloved Diane Sharone and Patti Mignogna.  Gloria and Dave wore pictures of their family.  Lynn wore a special scarf with names of all her family and friends who have fought or are still fighting their battles with breast cancer. We were a small but enthusiastic team. Thanks again for sponsoring us.
